This was a pretty quick painting, but I really like how it came out!
I love this quote, because sometimes I feel like if I'm not the "best" at doing something, it's not worth doing. That's a horrible way to think about things because there will always be people who are better than you at something, but that doesn't mean that your "voice" doesn't deserve to be heard.
I encourage you to share your passion or craft with other people even if it's not what you think of as "the best" because they will probably love it :0)

HI Lily, lovely little parrot! I love that quote, too. I posted it on Facebook around the time I started blogging and my mom got annoyed with me...I guess she thought it sounds negative but I agree with you entirely, especially since we are our own worst critics, you should never not do somthing because you are worried you are not the best. It's exactly what I like about blogging...putting it out there even if you are not sure.
ReplyDeleteI have heard of They Draw & Cook and have been toying with the idea of doing soemthing. I should have done the macaroons! I'm just soooooo crazy busy...my poor art has to take a back seat sometimes.
